OSET To Launch Motocross Bike

Ever since OSET launched its excellent range of electric-powered trial machines, the obvious question has been often voiced: when?s the motocross bike coming? Well, the answer is that you can see it at this weekend?s Dirt Bike Show, at Stoneleigh.

The new bike, dubbed the MX-10, isn?t just a rehash of one of the firm?s existing trial machines, but was designed from scratch as a motocross bike, ensuring that the bike is completely fit for purpose.

The new bike focuses on geometry, adjustability and power output.  It aims to shake up the motocross market by providing a credible alternative to petrol-powered machines.  To give the option of versatility, aftermarket wheels and tyres can transform this bike for supermoto, too.

Ian Smith, founder and CEO of OSET Bikes, said: ?OSET?s intention is to never enter a market with a half-hearted machine.  We want to build the best machine we can ? be it for trials, enduro, play riding or motocross.  We want kids to have fun on motorcycles ? safely!?

The MX-10 will be available to buy from dealers in Summer 2015.

In addition, the firm will also display a concept 24? machine at the show.  Ian Smith added: ?We have been working on a larger bike for some time and are now in a position to demonstrate a working concept to the public.?
