2012 Events

Struggling to find a suitable venue to ride your OSET? Why not get along to one of the events listed below? An increasing number of clubs are running suitable classes for beginners and young riders, with some even running specific events - similar to the very successful Yeadon & Guiseley OSET Cup, which ran for the first time in 2011.

Event Type Key:

'E-Class' - Where a class has been created by the club for the purpose of grouping similar abilities or machinery together, in this case for beginners on OSETs and small wheeled bikes. The course may be a separate course altogether from that of the adult one, but in most cases it will be another lower level plotted route, run in conjunction with the adult event. Please check with the organiser before attending.

'Conducted' - Where a specific course has been set out to suit the characteristics of small wheel electric machines and riders new to the sport of trials. There will often be a briefing beforehand, with the organisers/marshals taking the young riders around each individual section in groups.

'Try-Out' - Some clubs offer 'try out' or 'have a go days', which is a great way to learn about the sport without committing to owning a bike. Perfect for the 1st time rider.

'Youth National' - If you fancy a bit more of a challenge, then why not try your hand at the Youth C & D Nationals? OSET's are eligible to compete in both categories, and new riders are always welcomed and respected for taking on the challenge!

'Trade Event' - Events where OSET UK attend to showcase our bikes. These can also be a great day out for all the family and they certainly provide us with plenty of entertainment. Why not come and say hello?

* - Indicates that the event counts toward an end of year championship.

PLEASE NOTE - Some events list the 'E' Class in their events guides, but running the class will depend on attendance. It may be wise to call ahead and confirm!
